Today was the first race of the 5 race snowball series. It is a lovely day here in St. Louis with temperatures in the 20’s. (This cheerleader spent most of her time waiting in the car.) This was the first race that had a course that was not all on a street or paved path. Had we known this course had areas that were a trail run, we probably would have skipped this one. Lauren’s brain has a delayed response time, uneven surfaces are very hazardous for her. By the time her brain tells her to move, she is already there. The positive in this is that she is just too fast for her brain to catch up!
Although we didn’t break any world records with her time, Team Murphy is putting a checkmark in the win column. She was all smiles at the finish!
Definitely a finish to be proud of!
