Thankful

November is always a great month to reflect and be thankful. For most of us, 2020 has been a rough year. For Lauren and other people with disabilities, feeling a little isolated is not unusual. 2020 has brought that isolation up a notch. Since Murphys Don’t Quit, we pushed forward and found ways to get creative when all of Lauren’s activities came to a screeching halt. (online shopping stung a little)

We have switched all speaking engagements into a WebX or Zoom format, our schedule is not nearly as full as last year but we are still booking presentations virtually. For that we are very thankful!

One of the organizations that has been a tremendous help to Lauren (especially during the pandemic) is DASA (Disabled Athletes Sports Association), they do so much to help kids and adults with disabilities reach their full potential. They truly see the ability in each and every athlete, not the disability.

The photos are from DASA’s auction lat night, I wasn’t quite ready to see a Christmas tree but it did provide a nice photo backdrop!

As always, thank you for following Lauren’s story and joining us on her road to recovery. We are so thankful for all of you!
