Every great duo needs a behind-the-scenes hero and that’s Dave.
Dave travels with us to every out of town event, volunteering his time to make sure things run smoothly. He hauls the luggage, runs the merchandise table, takes questionable photos (we’re working on it), and takes Walker out for breaks when it’s too cold or too hot for us.
We lovingly refer to him as our Forever Intern mostly because he gets “fired” three times per trip… and rehired five. He keeps us laughing, keeps us moving, and always shows up with a smile (and maybe a snack or two).
Dave may be in the background, but we couldn’t do this without him.
Walker
Lauren’s Sidekick
Walker isn’t just a dog, he’s a life-changer.
Trained as a seizure alert service dog, Walker is always by Lauren’s side, offering both physical support and emotional reassurance. Whether he’s navigating airports, attending speeches, or sitting patiently through interviews, Walker is calm, focused, and completely devoted to Lauren.
He’s more than just a working dog, he’s part of the family. With his gentle eyes and steady presence, Walker helps Lauren feel safe and confident as she continues to share her story with the world.
Wherever we go, Walker is with us, quietly reminding us all what loyalty, love, and purpose really look like.
Murphy Family
Lauren is the second oldest of seven siblings, which means there’s never a dull moment in the Murphy household. What started as a big, lively family has only continued to grow, with spouses, partners, and grandkids now in the mix, our family will be up to 21 strong by early next year!
From group texts that never stop buzzing to loud holiday dinners filled with laughter (and a lot of food), Lauren is surrounded by a constant circle of support. Her siblings are her biggest cheerleaders, and the next generation, the little ones, adore their “Aunt Lauren.”
There’s something really special about having a front row seat to Lauren’s journey. Each person in our big family has walked beside her through the highs and lows, and together, we’ve learned what love, resilience, and humor truly look like.
It’s loud, it’s beautiful, and it’s 100% Murphy.
