October has been a whirlwind! My book, Murphys Don’t Quit was released on October 5th. Since the release date we have had several book signings, launch events and fundraisers, one benefiting The Brain Injury Foundation of St. Louis and one benefiting Incarnate Word Academy (Lauren Murphy Scholarship).
I am beyond humbled and so grateful to all who have purchased books, left reviews, sent emails and supported us through this exciting time!
In other exciting news, the Murphy family added a new baby girl, Margaret Marie Simpson, AKA ‘Greta’ on October 21st. Obviously I have no qualms in using her cuteness to help sell books, ha! Please help Greta spread the word about Murphys Don’t Quit!
Our speaking calendar has filled up once again and we are thrilled to be back out there sharing our story! I also have a few podcasts and interviews scheduled in November. Pinch me, is this real life? I will be bringing back our scheduling calendar to the website soon and will note when we have speeches that are live-streamed or open to the public.
If you have not ordered yet or you need to stock up for Christmas gifts, you can order here.
As always, thank you for following our story and for your continued support.

Loving the book, already marked it as “read” on my good read app! Because I know I will finish it… and that makes me sad… it’s so good, I don’t want to finish it.
Thank you Lauren for your inspiration to others going thru what you have gone thru, and thank you Colleen for putting it all on paper for others to read and learn and inspire!!!
Hey Colleen. This is Tom Anselm. Jill’s husband.
Just started reading your book. I laugh out loud on one page and on the next page i am brought to tears. I’m sure I’m not the first one to tell you this but the story of your daughters terrible accident and amazing recovery should be a movie. I’d be happy to play the part of one of the doctors …. maybe the one in Chicago… Ha ha
God bless you and your family as you continue this wonderful saga and God bless The amazing Lauren.
(Jill thinks you’re the best)

Tom,
Thanks so much for the kind words! I think Jill is pretty great too.
