Looking Ahead

2020 Flyer

As we ring in the new year, we can’t help but be excited and optimistic. Last year we set a goal to try and do 10 speeches in 2019. In typical Lauren fashion, she blew that goal out of the water. We closed out the year with exactly 30 speeches and spoke in front of over 5,800 people.

In addition, Lauren made the front page of the St. Louis Post Dispatch https://www.stltoday.com/news/local/metro/finding-her-voice-fontbonne-grad-gives-commencement-speech-after-traumatic/article_d7626b9d-098d-5d2e-a8ec-e83ad596c8b4.html?utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook&utm_campaign=user-share&fbclid=IwAR3CHxEe4m9CRien_0MdwMm0Wh2EAqjKow6T02ovyCsHn6-DReDAx2lHByk, and had articles written about her in the St. Louis Review https://www.archstl.org/murphys-dont-quit-is-mantra-of-31year-old-incarnate-word-academy-alum-who-survived-car-accident-3847/fbclid/iwar1hgsuloyzt4qch4_osxgyqrtq3fxa_f3mhmjbx7vals8amngk7zi4d1kk and The Jefferson City News Tribune https://www.newstribune.com/news/news/story/2019/apr/25/i-will-get-my-words-back-determined-speaker-shares-students/775913/?fbclid=IwAR0OEjmOWVTo9Y9hktjPWffPx5ovR2k_YDdkTPaaL6Ac6oTRdQcQvZQdnXQ. Channel 5, KSDK did a segment on Lauren https://www.ksdk.com/article/news/local/ofallon-woman-overcomes-the-odds-after-life-altering-accident/63-40601748-5245-48f2-bc60-e816a93c6738?fbclid=IwAR0yRkCjAj0_ldu3J7C7N0f0msFfitXHmHPxhhHMJcMSII2RAw1q2I3CgUg as well as the TV show The Thread https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1398&v=jMIs_1emO0I&feature=emb_title (You can see Lauren’s story at 18:40). This year has been incredible!

For Lauren, all of this success has encouraged her to raise the bar a little bit higher. Most of our bookings have been a direct result of a referral from someone who has already seen her speak.

In the past, when someone asks what they should tell their employer, church, rotary club, child’s school etc. I encouraged them to send all leads to our website murphysdontquit.com or email us @laurenmurphysdontquit@gmail.com. For those of you who prefer to have something more formal to send in an email or to hand out, I have created a PDF advertisement flyer that you are free to share.

We are extremely humbled and grateful for all of the continued love and support!
